The MFFL DRAFT is scheduled for Saturday August 29th
This wasn’t even a competition. After losing Saquan Barkley, Commissioner Beaumont has not given up on the fantasy season. He would have beaten 7 teams this week if he did have to match up against this powerhouse lineup. Even without Barkley, this team will be a consistent 120-130 point lineup for the rest of the season. If he can somehow upgrade the QB position, he could find himself in the playoffs. However, it is Reece we are talking about so expect him to finish between 10th-13th place.
This was a very compelling matchup between two fantasy owners who
A.) Don’t Give a Fuck
B.) Surprisingly, have solid fantasy teams this season.
C.) Who always go Fully Sendy!
Can’t discredit Jake’s win here. He moves to 2-1 on the season with a solid team all around and a great chance to make noise in the playoffs this year. For the 2nd time in three weeks, Trevor played the wrong players. How the fuck do you play Cam Newton over Aaron Rodgers? Playing Hockenson over Jimmy G wasn’t a terrible call, but it did cost Trevor an additional 14.7 points in his tight end slot (Giggity). This Detroit Lions loving fantasy player will continue to make questionable decisions in fantasy football, but he is not the worst 1-2 team in the league.
Sarros can’t catch a break. After a tough loss against Chris last week, he was licking his nubs this week going against the 2019 Sacko. However, Sacko decided to awake from his abysmal start to the season by throwing up a 190-burger on The Great Goatse. There is nothing else to say besides The Wasington R-Words just fucked this week. Let’s hope that is not the case as we are all continuing to root for our first repeat Sacko!
Like Sarros, Jon can’t catch a break this season either. Going against an 0-2 team is always a wet dream scenario in the MFFL. You want to continue to make sure that MFFL Member always has “Potential Sacko” in the back of their mind. Unfortunately, another 0-2 team finds the winner’s circle this week. Gavin’s team was boom or bust, either his players scored 30 points or less than 10. Not the consistency you want to see, but he was without Julio Jones and A.J. Brown this week while his starting WRs combined for 11 points. Stock is rising for Gavin while I also believe Jon has checked out for this fantasy season.
Still trying to understand Zach’s team name change to the “The Hebrew Nail”. I am not the handiest person alive, unless you count working on myself (Giggity) but isn’t the hammer supposed to beat the nail? Not this week as Hitler handed the Hebrew Hammers their 1st loss of the season. Matt will continue to have nightmares of this Holocaust-like beatdown as he thought his team could go undefeated.
It’s never great when your starting quarterback on your fantasy team gets benched in real life. If Kevin started Watson over Trubisky, Gallup over Beckham Jr, and Aijuk over Diontae Johnson, he would have won. Scoring under 100 points in your matchup never looks good but leaving three 20-point scorers on your bench in the process doesn’t help with Kevin’s emotions. Kevin continues to make questionable lineup changes, which is why we love him in the MFFL.
Can someone tell Matt K. that that half his team is black? If you do get a hold of him, also let him know that he still has Antonio Brown and Delanie Walker on his lineup. Regardless of his lineup and political views, Matt K was able to pull out the W over our former champion. Champ Dan has made it loud and clear that he has given up on the fantasy season based on putting Kenyan Drake and Julian Edelman on the trading block. After combining for 13.1 points last week, don’t expect the trade offers to start rolling in though. Expect our former champ to continue his downward spiral this season. Is it to early to start looking into dresses?
