The MFFL DRAFT is scheduled for Saturday August 29th
Unfortunately, Jake had to go against the #1 Team in the league (I’ll let you schmucks look it up if you don’t already know who he played). Losing Nick Chubb to the IR doesn’t provide much blood flow to Jake’s nether region. However, he still put up a respectable performance and will continue to put up these sorts of numbers throughout the season. Expect Jake to be a borderline playoff team this season.
After an impressive win last week, there is nothing that the MFFL league loves more than seeing Sacko back in Sacko Watch. After an impressive 40 pointer from George Kittle, the rest of his team was unimpressive. Not having first rounder Derrick Henry in the lineup will be the excuse Matt uses this week, but don’t buy into it. Matt has slid from the 8th place back down to 12th, which is right where we like him. Expect his Week 3 win to be his only memorable moment this fantasy season. Matt has never been one to trade for future draft picks, so we do not know where he stands with this. My thought would be that he stands pat as the trading deadline approaches, to wait for others to unload their rosters-hoping to avoid a Sacko Repeat.
Trade Assets: George Kittle, Cooper Kupp and Derrick Henry
Tough pill for Blueman to swallow here. Monday afternoon, we saw the Houston Texans fire General Manager/Head Coach Bill O’Brien after an 0-4 start. Rumors are already swirling around that Dan is looking to start the rebuild for 2021. After current trading block members Julien Edelman and Kenyan Drake combined for 10 points this week, LT. Dan will need reevaluate his team. Expect him to start taking offers for DJ Chark Jr, and possibly Lamar Jackson if he wants a nice ROI for next season. The Moose is Broken has been the biggest understatement of the MFFL season, next to President Trumps “Don’t be afraid of Covid” tweet. Dan could be the first winless team in MFFL History.
Trade Assets: Lamar Jackson, DJ Chark Jr
“.44” will haunt Ryan for the rest of the season. However, there is a lot of upside with his team heading into next week as he is the guy who has the reputation in the MFFL of drafting the handcuffs. With Nick Chubb heading to the IR, expect woman beater Kareem Hunt to benefit in this high-powered offense along with rookie sensation Josh Kelley for the Chargers. Ryan may be 1-3 (insert finger joke here) but expect him to go on a tear the next three weeks.
Trade Assets: Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce, Josh Allen
The funny part about this is that I already wrote Jon’s summary, expecting him to lose to Zach. However, Jamaal Williams came through on MNF! Zach had a very “Meh” week this week. Only 1 player outscored their projected total this week, while Zach threw up less than 100 points. Not something you want to see after starting the season 3-0. However, he still sits comfortably in 2nd place but goes against Ryan S. Could this be the downfall of our beloved 14?
Even while playing a Top 50 public course (for women) in Lake Geneva on Sunday, our favorite Jew couldn’t stop checking his lineup on his phone. Matt didn’t play a bad lineup, the eye sore would be Greg Zurelein only scoring 2 points while the Cowboy offense continued to go for the 2-point conversions after being down early. Still in playoff contention so do not expect him to start unloading his team. He remains an easy candidate to rip off in trades.
MFFL Fact of the week: You have a 0.0% chance of winning when your opponent has the highest point total?
Matt may want to rethink his stance of BLM, as it looks like his team (many African American players) have turned on him. However, it also doesn’t help when you leave Sony Michel in your lineup. Matt has slipped out of playoff contention and we do not expect him to be back in there anytime soon. He will continue to support his 4-0 Packers and will be happy with that.
Trade Assets: Patrick Mahomes, Marquise Brown, Aaron Jones
MFFL Fact of the Week Part 2: Matt is the only employer in the world of Antonio Brown.
