The MFFL DRAFT is scheduled for Saturday August 29th
Congratulations to the managers that escaped week 2 two injury free. To all others, sucks to suck.
All right all the you Moose Knucklers, here is week three’s waiver wire breakdown:
The Hebrew really did drop the hammer…and all his FAAB this week for two pivotal adds. The widely attractive Mike Davis (Car – RB) and Jerick McKinnon (SF – RB) were those added and Rob Gronkowski (TB – TE) as well as Tevin Coleman (SF – RB) were dropped. As I am confident in saying that almost everyone submitted a high bid, I am pleased to announce that the selling price for Davis was $55 and McKinnon was $45.
Both players are notable and commanded a high bid, blowing one’s entire budget though in today’s operating environment is catapulting ones chances to wear a dress as other injuries and events (COVID, legal matters, or bad play) could hamper these two players fantasy potential.
“Let’s see how this one plays out.”
Someone certainly did need to Hold a beer as that fat wallet needed some support while he threw down $40 FAAB on this week’s addition of newly signed Devonta Freeman (NYG – RB). Hold My Beer dropped Dede Westbrook (Jax – WR) for the add. Devonta Freeman is hypothesized to replace Saquon Barkley (NYG – RB) who was recently placed on IR, due to a season ending injury.
Considerable risk lays ahead. The NYG are not that good, Saquon Barkley was struggling to produce from the start of the season and the Giants have a fairly tough schedule facing defenses such as the; 49’ers, LA Rams, Dal, and Washington. Additionally, the Devonta Freemen will likely be in a RB committee with Dion Lewis and Wayne Gallman.
We all need someone behind the helm. Leading our fantasy teams to victory week after week and for #ACLstrength, Daniel Jones (NYG – QB) wasn’t cutting it and was released into the pits of the wire. #ACLstrength rescued Ryan Tannehill (Ten – QB) from the pits of the waiver and has been called to action. He didn’t stop there, #ACLstrength also added Myles Gaskin (Mia – RB) and dropped Saquon Barkley (NYG – RB). These rescue missions cost a pretty penny, $51FAAB to be precise. $33 for Gakin and $18 for Jones.
Tannehill is a wild card however, is in position to realize some solid fantasy production in the coming week. Playing against the Minnesota Vikings with the 6th worst Defensive ranking this year and a yahoo fantasy projection of 21.68 points. Im bullish here and think Tannehill covers 25.00 points.
Christmas Eve was yet another victim of weeks two’s onslaught of injuries with Courtland Sutton (Den – WR) going to IR and in his place Christmas Eve added Adam Humphries (Ten – WR) and Keelan Cole (Jax – WR). Total cost of transaction $23 FAAB.
Both players present moderate fantasy value and are WR3 – WR4’s with some upside potential present. Nothing special here – other than spending a combined $23 on both players. Depth is important though.
The R-words dropped Logan Thomas (Was – TE), Los Angeles Rams (Def) and added Wayne Gallman Jr. (NYG – RB), and Indianapolis (Def). Overall, this was not a bad drop and add with an overall price tag of $18FAAB. I’ll be honest I wanted Indy too as they face the NY Jets this week and I think they are this year’s Miami Dolphins team from the previous year. Outside of the defensive add, Gallman is clearly stepping into a larger role with added snap counts. He is however shadowed by Freeman and Lewis.
The Great Goatse: Adding; KJ Hamler (Den – WR), Frank Gore (NYJ – RB), Michael Pittman (Ind – WR) and the Los Angeles Chargers (Def) and removing; Anthony Miller (Chi – WR), Darrel Williams (KC – RB), the Arizona Defense from the line-up as well as Steven Sims Jr. (Was – WR). Hamler costs $9FAAB and LAC Def cost $3.
Meh: Adding; Justin Herbert (LAC – QB), Jamaal Williams (GB – RB) and dropping AJ Dillon (GB – RB), Jimmy Garoppolo (SF – QB) …poor fella. Herbert $5FAAB, Jamaal $2FAAB.
For all other adds/drops visit your local transaction list because there are several more…savages.
